Celso Emilio was born on the 4th of January of 1912 in Celanova, a village that was an axial element in his literary production.
When Civil War begins, Celso Emilio is called to join up with the youth people of his age and he is destined to Asturias’ front.
He goes in for a public examination, getting first a secretary position, and becoming later the Office of Prices justice chief, where he worked until 1950.
In October 1949 he is qualified as Solicitor of the Courts, and in September 1950 goes to Vigo to practice this profession.
He goes out to América after feeling very closely the breath of Franco´s repressive forces persecution.
In 1973 he returns to Spain to Madrid, after Álvaro Gil hires him to work in the magazine Tribuna Médica
